What is Mercury Product Protection Gold?
Mercury Product Protection (MPP) Gold coverage is a factory-backed extended service plan that covers certain expenses after your Mercury Limited Warranty expires. It covers parts and labor for mechanical failures that are the result of defects in material or workmanship. Additional benefits include:
- Increased Resale Value. Mercury Product Protection is transferable to subsequent owners, which typically helps to increase the resale value of your engine and boat.
- Extra Coverage. The Get 7 promotion provides up to seven years of total coverage for a Mercury engine (3-year Mercury Limited Warranty + 4-year MPP Gold plan).
- Peace of Mind. After your engine’s Limited Warranty expires, Mercury Product Protection provides an easy, less-expensive solution for unexpected repairs.
- Genuine Parts. Mercury Authorized Dealers will make repairs using only genuine Mercury Precision Parts specifically designed for your engine.
